I am not sure how this escaped me for years, but I accidently came across a full acoustic performance from Michael Franti & Spearhead on YouTube. So there are billions of videos on YouTube and what makes this one unique?
First off it features Franti and Spearhead doing a full 90+ minute set acoustically. Secondly, it takes place at Folsom Prison, yes, that Folsom Prison.
Franti gives a performance for the ages here. Watching him connect with these prisoners is a sight to behold. He gives them every bit of his mind and music and they repay him with their rpt attention and applause.
This is essential viewing.
